As distinctive for my art, this work blends pointillism and impressionism.
People rendered in points of color strokes reflect the complex and illusory nature of a human being. While flowers and the scenery are painted in a more direct and clear way, capturing the beauty of the moment.
Placing men among spring flowers, I wanted to add a touch of delicate and tender eroticism to the scene. I used a consistent black "jeans" texture as a background, achieved by glazing, in order to create a deep and meditative mood—like adding a layer of intrigue to the overall feeling of the artwork.
