This watercolor painting of a Kingfisher captures the essence of this lovely little bird's beauty in an expressive and dynamic way. Its vibrant blue and orange feathers have been portrayed with expressive paint strokes, spills and spatters; using wet-on-wet technique.
The burst of colour brings a sense of movement and cheerfulness to the painting. It has been done on Arches cold pressed paper, and comes unframed.
