King Ghidorah is a unique piece, modeled and decorated by hand.
It was inspired by the figure of the monster Ghidorah from the 1964 Japanese film kaiju, directed by Ishirō Honda.
The materials used were stoneware clay, ceramic underglaze paints, transparent glaze and cork. The golden details are parts of the piece that were restored using the Japanese Kintsugi technique. In the repairation was used urushi lacquer, bengara powder and brass powder.
