Inspired by deep ocean colors and a fish species crucial to the life and economies of many North Atlantic cultures, this image depicts a cod fish swimming through swirling aqua waters. I love exploring the colors and textures of ocean creatures -- in this fish, the play of light and dark is a welcome contrast to the movement around the fish's form.

Each image I paint celebrates nature and wildlife while also allowing me to play with color, line and shape!
