Extract from my book. Soka explained, “We can’t speak their language nor can they speak ours in normal circumstances. But the King of the baboons, Babu, has a very special black banana which, when he eats, can make him speak our language. It’s a banana he will only eat for extraordinary occasions such as this.” Tommy raised his hand and asked, “If I was to eat that banana, could I speak the Baboon language?” Everyone turned and looked at Tommy in exasperation, having just caused all this trouble. Tommy said, “I’m only asking.”
