This colour pencil portrait of a Gorilla is one of my favourite pieces to date.
Gorillas are my favourite animals, and I really wanted to capture the emotion in the Gorillas face and eyes. 'King' is always a show stopper when I have taken it out in public to shows and on display on my trade stands, now I am finally ready to part with him !
This piece took approximately 50 hours to complete. It has beentriple mounted and framed in a chunky rustic wooden frame which compliments it perfectly.

Bristol board paper, Faber Castell Polychromos, Caran D'Ache Pablo & Luminance Pencils
