Original artwork description:

This pastel artwork is from one of my Kimono series. I was inspired to use this Kimono in my artwork. It was a present brought back from China and I was liked the vivid reds and golds of the silks. There are different patterns on these lovely Kimonos each one is delightful in it's own way. I placed the Anemones, which contrasted with the kingfisher blue vase on the chair, and the green in the fan. I have had this pastel painting exhibited in the Mall galleries in the Society of Women Artists of which I am a member.
