Watercolor painting “Khotyn. Sunny Day” was drawn from life by my bike plein air travel in the spring of 2020.

It happened during the first quarantines and self-isolation, so during the plein air I felt a little like a partisan. I had to secretly climb into places with beautiful views, being careful of the guards and draw in such extreme situations.

Khotyn Fortress is a very beautiful picturesque place on the banks of the Dniester River, included in the list of "Seven Wonders of Ukraine", a lot of important historical events took place here. And in modern times, 15 historical films were filmed here.

The work was painting by professional Italian watercolors Maimeri Blu on 100% cotton watercolor paper 300 g/m2, which guarantees the durability of the preservation of the work under proper storage conditions, decorated under glass.

All the funds raised from the sale of my paintings are used to make my dream of a mobile workshop based on a minibus come true. Now I travel the world on a bicycle, it is very exciting, but for greater productivity I need a minibus in which I will live, travel and paint.
