"Kerry Gold" is a Variable Edition screenprint with watercolour chine colle background on acid free tissue paper printed onto Fabriano paper. The screenprinted layers provides a consistent foreground image, whilst the variable watercolour background varies within the edition. No two prints in the edition look the same, hence the variable edition. This is No. 2 of the edition of 30.
The image depicts a view of the north side of Bolus Head in Co. Kerry in the west fo Ireland, on the Wild Atlantic Way. I was attracted to the strong winter sunlight on the side of the mountain, which gave the landscape that golden colour.
