This large oil-on-canvas painting is a synthesis of images found along a famous stretch of Route 66 in New Mexico. Jack Kerouac's famous cult book "On the Road," was part of the inspiration for the painting. The images commemorate and symbolize the influences and changes that Kerouac left on his way along this path--and also our culture. Edges are painted n a gallery-wrap style making framing unnecessary. Contact me for better shipping options.
