Original artwork description:

During a springtime trip to Kentucky, pink & white dogwoods and pink redbuds were in full bloom, decorating hills and fields. This was the largest redbud tree I saw, on top of a hill at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington. A nearby bench made an inviting, peaceful scene, painted in oil on stretched canvas with soft spring colors in an impressionistic, impasto style.
