This painting is one in a series of English landscape paintings, looking at a year in Kent , where I live and work.
Winter in Kent where I live can sometimes have a small covering of snow. I live the light them, it's yellowish, and everything is a little other wordly. This is my lane, with the fields and trees that characterize my locality.
I use top quality Golden acrylic paints to create a rich, highly pigmented paint surface and I work in may layers to build up colours and colour complexity.
This 40x100cm painting is unframed. It has white painted edges and is strung with picture cord ready to hang.
