Original artwork description:

Along the back roads around Coniston is Kelly Hall Tarn near Torva. A beautifully unspoilt area affording fantastic views of the Coniston Range. I stopped to sketch at the lake side finding the most amazing reflections and Colours. I really liked the variety of compositions so I drew a few quick sketches and studies before the light changed and the wind picked up.

On returning to the studio I worked on the composition and started to produce the final artwork. It certainly lifts one's mood to see the beauty of light in nature.

Kelly Hall Tarn Bathed In Colour is a framed original oil painting created and painted by myself. The back of the artwork is signed and you will receive a Certificate of Authenticity.
