Original artwork description:

This is a painting based on my regular walks in the nearby fields. When the first snow of the winter fell last year, the gate just stuck out on its own as if not having a function. The road surface was covered and so was the grass. It got me thinking, what happens to a place when elements are removed...
The painting is worked in layers of acrylic paint on prepared wood panel.

The painting is painted on wood panel and is ready to hang.
