I've had some fun with these boots; not wearing them, in case you're wondering, but painting them. Shiny patent leather, and a wicked heel; these are the kind of boots that could tell stories. The black and white mini dress reminds me of Bridget Riley, and seems of a piece with the boots and the silky slip on the ground, and a contrast to the formal dining chair. All on top of a glass slab; in some ways, it's quite a formal composition, an exercise in reflection and fabric, in some ways it also hints at some deliciously bad behaviour.
