Kaya Yoo in the Ghanaian language refers to a Female Porter.Female Porters are seen everywhere in all the market centres.They carry loads for shoppers for a fee.This painting is the profile of a Kaya Yoo looking for a customer.They usually look in the direction of shoppers for a signal with the hand which means come and carry my load to a designated place,could be to the transport station,to the roadside for a taxi.In the background is a thatched roofing structure where some foodstuffs from the villages are been sold.
