Original artwork description:

This painting of this amazingly beautiful pink wild flower was made during a stay in my native country, the Netherlands.
It lived in the backyard and carried the only non-green and brown color one expects of a forest.
It's beauty and it's splendour lighted up any day, no matter if it was a cloudy, grey day or even if it was rainy, one could always count on this bliss of nature, just radiating it's joy.

It's only recent that floral and abstract plant motives have popped up in my art.
And this botanical beauty was a challlenge.
More than representing the forms of the plant, this painting was designed to express the joy it brings.
Hence the more abstract and even contemporary elements.

Note to buyer:
Because the flanks are painted as well, I would recommend a box-frame for framing.

On the front I've signed it with the small insignia,
on the back you find the title, year of making and the full signature.
