Original artwork description:

This painting was done on site on a chilly, misty autumn morning at Gaasbeek Castle near Brussels in Belgium. I was participating in a watercolour workshop of the Belgian Watercolour Institute of which I am a member. I have used earthy colours to convey the season and the solidness of these old stone walls. I am fascinated by old buildings and their history and this painting is one of a series that I have painted of castles.

This unique artwork is sold mounted and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity signed by the artist.
