This colourful acrylic painting is is an abstract representation of a Kashmiri Pandit from the named area in India. . Kashmiri Pandits originally lived in the Kashmir Valley before Muslim influence entered the region, following which large numbers converted to Islam. They are the only remaining Hindu community native to Kashmir.
ALL CUSTOMERS PLEASE NOTE - This piece is sold as a loose canvas only, and is not ready to hang. It will be delivered rolled in a heavy-duty parcel tube.
Painted on 100% cotton duck canvas, which will come off of the temporary stretcher frame and be dispatched. So once received it should be mounted on another suitable stretcher frame, and then hung with or without a decorative main frame.
It is signed and dated at the back, varnished for protection and a certificate of authenticity provided. The overall size of the canvas is 112× 142cm and the painting size is 92 × 122 × 5cm. It can be hung in either portrait or landscape format, once back on a stretcher frame.
