π-K18 from Oblivium project - A fleeting threshold between memory and oblivion.

π-K18 is a piece from the Oblivium project, where perception dissolves into memory, and time is layered within the image. This photograph stands out for its ethereal composition, achieved through the technique of multiple exposures, which overlays fragments of reality to create a landscape suspended between the tangible and the elusive.

The scene depicts a coastal expanse where sea and sky merge into an intangible gradient. The horizon line, barely perceptible, fades into a golden mist, evoking a twilight softened by the passage of time.
The waves, deconstructed through long exposure, transform into chromatic flows that capture not just movement but the very essence of time itself.

The shoreline, bathed in diffused reflections and soft shadows, becomes an interstitial space between reality and illusion.

The artwork is defined by a refined and delicate palette, where warm and cool tones blend into a harmonious gradient. The hues of the setting sun unfold in veiled gold, fading into blush pink and amber, while the sea adopts shades of muted blue, lavender, and pearlescent highlights.
The ground, softened by the painterly effect of multiple exposures, absorbs and merges these colors, creating a surface that appears almost fluid.

π-K18 is not merely a representation of a landscape but a visual reinterpretation of memory and dissolution.
The use of multiple exposures enhances the sense of temporal suspension, evoking a place that exists more in the imagination than in tangible reality.

The absence of sharp details or defined narrative elements leaves space for the viewer’s subjectivity, inviting them to lose themselves in a boundless horizon, a journey between presence and disappearance.
