This is the first work from a new project called The Share.
It's a pretty dark work. But it has a very important conceptual content.
This whole project treats ordinary concepts in an unusual way. We take the most simple and banal things and put them in an unnatural context. And they paradoxically begin to take on a new meaning. The most important thing about it is that you start to think. Or you don't, if that's not your nature at all.
On almost all of them you will find the name of the picture and you will surely be surprised by such a dark interpretation of such holy concepts as Law, Justice, Truth and many others.
Not the whole project is so dark. There will definitely be some bright, positive pictures.
I have been living outside Russia for a quarter of a century. But, as you can see, it does not let me go. Mentally, I will still remain Russian to the end. But this does not prevent me from showing my attitude to this country. In my paintings, in my infernal still lifes.
The work will be available after December 25 this year.
