A curious looking giraffe from a series of animals that I'm working in permanent rose, prussian blue and winsor violet.

I love painting in this style, I get so much pleasure from using adventurous colours to bring an animal to life rather than sticking to the realistic.

I paint in a uncontrolled, deconstructed technique by which I allow the paint and water to create its own rhythms and imperfections to emphasise the raw and wild side of the animal, a side that we dont see just by looking, I like to play with the animals beauty by freeing up its lines and shapes.
