Original artwork description:

During a coastal beach walk I simply had to stop and do some quick pencil sketches and make comprehensive colour notes to jog my memory concerning the figure paddling in the sea. My aim was to capture the play of light and the relaxed nature of the figure which is so fleeting in an oil painting.

On returning to the studio I worked on the composition and started to produce the final artwork. It certainly lifts one's mood to see the beauty of light in nature.

Intense Light is a framed original oil painting created and painted by myself. The back of the artwork is signed and you will receive a Certificate of Authenticity.
