Since I was a teenager myself in the 90's and that period is deeply etched in my memory and heart, I colored the painting in bright and vibrant 90's bubble gum and candy colors. I mixed it with 90s dress code colors: that typical 90s green, hot orange, bright yellow and pink. I soothed them with white and thick layers of white snow from the winter of the 90s, because I remember wading through such snowdrifts on my way to school. I also added a bit of golden light to the colors of the picture from the details of the 90s classmates' outfits, and also added that feeling of relaxation and positive emotions from the 90s to the palette, when you only expected good things from the future.

This abstract artwork is painted with simple, impulsive, spontaneous, sculptural and richly textured brushstrokes. It's an invitation to introspection, to feel the pulsating vibrancy of the past, yet appreciate the serene, silent beauty of the present.
