'Just As Things Were Getting Interesting' (full title). This painting and the title of it, is inspired by the casino scene in the James Bond film Dr. No. (1962). The subject is Sylvia Trench as played by Eunice Gayson who appeared in the first two Bond films, Dr. No and 'From Russia With Love', both alongside Sean Connery. She is famed for being the 'very first Bond Girl' – In her first scene, she introduces herself to Bond as 'Trench, Sylvia Trench', an introduction style that Bond went on to use as his trademark throughout the many films that followed.

Painted in oils on deep edge panel. It can be hung, using the fixtures provided, or displayed standing on it's edge.
