This image is created from original photographs taken at Charmouth Beach on the Dorset Coast. It has been created by layering and juxtaposing up to 40 different photographs to create an entirely new scene, which aims to captures a sense of an eerie timelessness found along this coastline.

Charmouth Beach is part of the Jurassic Coastline of Dorset. It is known as the Jurassic coast as significant discoveries have been made of dinosaur and other remains form the Jurassic Era. When visiting the beach you cannot help but be drawn into what seems to be a group focus of picking up and turning over stones, to see if you can discover a fossil.
