This Painting is inspired from a typical Malaysian nature scene, here the famous trail across Tioman Island.
This handmade paper from Nepal is a thick parchment paper, strong yet pliable. The paper is made to this size and the uneven edges have not been cut away which adds to the mood of the painting.
The close up picture is of higher resolution to be able to get a feel for the texture and brush strokes of the painting.
