Whilst many artists tend to see abstracts as an amalgamation of patterns, shapes and paint splatters I typically aim to tap into the Unconscious (to borrow CG Jung’s term). I’ve worked on this large format piece for three weeks. Longer than some of my more detailed realist works.
It features turns and twists of interconnected branches of some mysterious trees in the jungle of brain neurons. One can clearly see organic forms, creatures, animals, twisted facade of some building, monarch butterflies and a stranded ship.
