Juliette is a long, slender cat sculpture in natural calabash wood, symbolizing love.

She's part of the CalbinoOz series.

Her ears are oversized like those of most long-bodied CalbinoOz cats, reproducing the magnificent peculiarity of the sphynx cat's ears.

She wears a small petrol-blue sweater with a turtleneck and red copper dots, and a sort of long dress in natural calabash wood with a copper-wood underskirt.

This elongated sculpture is mounted on a thick, homemade square wooden base, as a calabash emptied of its seeds, especially when so elongated, becomes a hollow, light wood that could wobble without support.

Materials: emptied natural calabash wood, surfine wood cellulose, blown glass, acrylic paint, protective varnish, wooden base.

Unique piece signed on the underside of the calabash.
