The still life with plums is written in impressionism and in the technique of "alla-prima", which means "immediately, in one step".
The painting on this canvas has its characteristics. I first applied a thick layer of paint to the canvas in different shades. Then I wiped off the contours of the drawing with a cloth wound around my finger, and after that, I applied coloured layers with a brush or finger.
The unpainted edges of the picture are also not an accident; they enhance the effect of vintage, give some lightness to the whole image.

I like to call this canvas "a still-life in a landscape," since my other painting, "The Lavender Field at Sunset," served as the background for it. Provence, lavender is my favourite themes, and in this case, the landscape has become a magnificent colour base for a still life with plums.

The picture will perfectly fit into the space of any room and create the effect of lightness, reverie, which will help remove the negative in the mood.
The sides of the painting are painted in the colours of the painting.
