I've come back to the sweet shop for my latest pop art food painting. This one depicts the packaging of the classic Wrigley's chewing gum, Juicy Fruit. It's a popular and highly recognisable American brand that's amazingly been around since 1893!

As ever with some of my other retro sweet paintings I'm more interested incredibly well designed packaging that the food stuff itself, and in the specific case of the Juicy Fruit gum it works on it's own as an incredibly bright and impactful piece of graphic design, just like Warhol's soup cans. It's been rebranding many times over the decades but I went for the 80s style design with the arrows as I thought it had a more graphic impact.

It's a bold bright painting that would brighten up any room in your home, or would make an ideal gift for someone special.

It is painted in acrylics and Posca paint pens on high quality A4 paper. It's signed and dated on the back.

PLEASE NOTE: The painting doesn't come framed, I've taken photos of it in a white A4 frame for display purposes.
