The inspiration for starting this work was the shade of a Dracaena plant that lives in my studio. Admiring the beautiful shadows from the leaves, I imagined the flower and drew it in watercolor.

I love to look for meaning in the shadows that plants cast. Interpreting them in my own way, I live each image and paint as my heart sees it. I am not going to paint the same way. Departing from the usual idea of nature, I see flowers in the shadow of leaves and vice versa. My work is expressive, but at the same time filled with love and serenity.
