Journeys End is a very colourful original oil painting showing the light at the end of a vibrant autumn canal path. It is 36x30x1.5 inches. This magical landscape is semi abstract in style and catapults the viewer towards a turn in the path where the light is showing the exit of the dark tree tunnel by a river. The colours are rich bright autumn colours and the painting has a lot of impact due the edges being blurred which give it an energy and a promise that is quite unique. The inspiration for the painting was trying to show the feeling of having achieved a goal, the feeling of triumph and relief that you feel when a job has been done or when you have finally found the solution to a problem that has been on your mind for a very very long time. I hope it inspires others to keep going when things are tough. There is literally light at the end of the tunnel if you just keep going!
