Elysium is a conception of the afterlife, and this painting explores the emotions of a journey to Elysium. It is not about death but about an adventure to another realm, and how everything would be emotion rather than physical. It is painted in the style of abstract expressionism.

This work is painted on 12 oz gallery canvas and has been sealed with varnish. The canvas is hand-stretched onto a frame is 198 cm in width by 137 cm in height.

This work was created on the 15th day of March 2020.
