his painting explores the abstractness of language through the visual. Many layers of colour, line and scrawls have been added, layer upon layer, to form a layered visual language using colours associated with the landscape, travel and the the urban environment, bring together many elements to the painting.

this painting explores elements of weathering, the wear and tear of old walls and painted areas ouotside, left to age and succumb to entropy.

The image has been split up through the use of masking tape, masking areas to form the various layers of colour, evoking the forms of buildings, windows, skyhighs and the built up areas in our places of work and living.
