Joshua Tree is reduction linocut print. Inspired by a series of photos I took in the desert. The extreme colours in the sunset were a joy to try a recreate. Psychedelic colours combined with the more subtle greys and pinks in the rocks giving this piece surreal qualities.

A reduction linocut is made by using one piece of Lino. The Lino is then carved with tools and inked up and printed. This is repeated over and over until you are left with a scrap of Lino and the finished print. The trick is to line up the paper each time so it prints correctly. The process cannot be repeated.

Only one print left in this edition.

No computers or mechanical printers are used in these prints. As they are hand produced each one is very slightly different from the rest, and editions are very small. A true limited edition.

Each print is send flat, backed by card, in a cellophane sleeve in a reinforced envelope. A certificate of authenticity and an explanation of the process is included.
