Artwork description:

Joshua Sunset, is a return to a previous subject. Something I rarely do. I tried to combine the dusk of the desert with a vivid, almost gaudy sunset. The sky is a technicolour rainbow, the Joshua Trees are just about to fall into shadow.

Joshua Sunset is a reduction Linocut. I take one piece of Lino and draw the image onto it, in reverse. I then print my first colour onto it. I carve away the Lino which I wish to remain this colour with specialist tools and repeat the process until the image appears. This takes a lot of time and patience. No computers or machines are used. For this reason every print will be slightly different than the next.

Joshua Sunset is printed on hand torn Italian paper, which measures approximately 36.5cm x 26.5cm. The image size is 30.5cm by 20.5 cm

Oil based inks are used and as with all hand made prints a mount is recommended when framing.

Please note the room views are computer generated and the print is not shown to scale.

The postage and packaging fees are for up to 2 prints. If you purchase more than 2 prints I will package them together, where possible and refund excess postage costs.

For the U.K. I ship Royal Mail 1st class tracked or Special Delivery depending on the value of the package.
International orders are shipped Royal Mail International tracked.

Outside the U.K. and USA local customs/duty may be incurred. These are the responsibility of the customer and outside my control.
