I had been listening to Johnny Cash and especially love 'Hurt' - his beautiful version of the song originally by the Nine Inch Nails. It is such a strong song, full of emotion.
So, I decided to paint a portrait of him from the era of that recording, towards the end of his life.
What a fantastic face he has, painted on a small canvas board, but it packs a punch.
Framed within a floating frame, the man in black ,,, .on white .
