285-John Piper's Jewel, Sunningwell Church (46cm x 38cm) 2015 Oil on Canvas
John Piper produced a lithograph of this view of the Jewel Porch on Sunningwell Church, siting on the churchyard wall framed by the Yew and the chestnuts.
Countless students at the Sunningwell School of Art will also have done so. This is my take on it with the sun striking the south face.
It is framed elegantly but simply for exhibition purposes. It would warrant a proper beautiful professional frame at probably the same price as the painting.
