Here is my third portrait of the famous blues man, JOHN LEE Hooker, If you are a fan of "down and dirty" blues, then John Lee is your man. Most of his songs are available on youtube. This painting is done on 5 mil thick, archival grade drafting mylar. This material is tough, waterproof, inert, flexible, dimensionally stable, and it does not have to be stretched, like canvas and watercolor paper. JOHN LEE is produced using India ink and acrylic paint on architectural drafting mylar. The "Miller Beer" sign is a print that is laminated to the painting There will only be one original created and no authorized copies will ever be made.
The painting will be mounted on tempered masonite.
