Representing the human body has been one of the major themes throughout art history since prehistoric times.
This is one of a series that I am working on depicting females in various poses and showing a variety of expressions. From Di Vinci’s Mona Lisa to Warhol’s Marilyn, more works of art have focused on the female than any other subject, and for good reason.
For this particular work, the female figure becomes the dominant theme. I have reinforced this theme with warm flesh colors, contrasts and a dark background. This work is life sized.
JO is a one of a kind, original work of art. It is produced using India ink and acrylic paint on 5 mil archival grade mylar.
The painting is signed on the front and comes with a signed certificate of authenticity.

All my work is done on Dura-Lar mylar artist film. It does not have to be stretched like canvas or watercolor paper. It is easy to mount on any type of board: plywood, masonite, foamboard, etc. I include simple mounting instructions with each piece that I sell. You can see these instructions at the “me at work” section of my shop. I include a hanging strip and a drywall hanging device. Everything that you need to mount your painting except the board.
