Jimi Hendrix Kissed By An Angel_x000D_ _x000D_ This was at a time where LSD was very influential in music. My neurologist said in a way you are lucky because artists used to take lsd to achieve what you do every day without drugs because of narcolepsy and REM intrusion hallucinations. _x000D_ So that’s what I put in this painting which I think emphasises the music and the time. I would have loved to have lived through it. _x000D_ _x000D_ 36x48 canvas with 2 inch canvas surrounding so can be restretched to wooden frame. Can only be sent stretched to wood frame in U.K. everywhere else it has to be sent rolled due to size. But as part of the framing the framer will restretched at very little extra cost. I’m a London-based artist, and my work often reflects vivid and surreal imagery inspired by my unique experience with REM intrusion—a condition where dream-like visions can appear while I’m awake. My paintings explore the boundary between waking reality and the dream world, using layered compositions to create a sense of depth and movement. I paint with high-quality materials and put a lot of thought into texture and detail. My process is a mix of intuitive brushwork and deliberate layering, aiming to create pieces that are rich in emotion and invite you to see something new each time you look at them.
