Painted on-site in the artist's neighborhood in Minneapolis, MN. Features a maple tree in a blazing rocket red color, and shaped like a flame. The tree is accented by two tall, slender evergreen trees at the left, golden yellow maple branches at the right, and fallen leaves and small shrubs at the bottom. Painted in oil with florescent oil, over casein on board. The soft, matte texture in the background and sky are painted with casein paint, which contrasts with the thicker oil paint of the foliage. The texture of the foliage was created with palette knife. Framed in a 2" wide wood frame with an antique gold finish and ornate moulding. May be purchased unframed by request.
