2020, the Spanish government orders a national lockdown due the COVID-19 pandemic. I had just moved to the region of Catalunya and like the rest of country’s residents, I stayed in partial isolation. To break the monotony of life indoors I bought myself a pochade box for plein-air painting. What a blissful moment it was to roll it in my shopping trolley to the nearby park and paint the surrounding vegetation. This was made in the Jardins Miramar on Montjuïc. The Parc is splendidly designed with triangular shaped bushes and statues arranged harmoniously.
This painting comes in a 33,5 x 23,5 x 3 cm floating frame.
