In the Orient, the Japanese crane is sacred and seen as a symbol of fidelity, love and longevity. Japanese cranes usually pair for life and perform an elaborate, synchronised courtship dance to reinforce this bond.

This painting was hand-painted, using professional Winsor&Newton; watercolors and 140lb (300g/m2) watercolor paper “Fabriano”.

Size: 18 x 24 inches (45 x 60 cm)
