Overcast sky with silver grey and a pale glow,
The bare tall trees,
A dense, dark green fir tree,
Pretty pink blossoms stand on the sloping lawn.

I created this watercolour painting that is unframed from my observations and visual memory. I used wet on wet washes for the background with my Chinese hake brush and applied the trees with a filbert brush plus a Japanese mop squirrel hair brush pressing the paint to create the detail.
