Impressionistic landscape.

Grasses, walking and experiencing the natural world in rural Kent have long since informed my paintings.

My aim is to translate this beauty, tranquility and atmosphere in my paintings, they are not an attempt to copy, more to re-create the feelings of being out in nature.

This painting is an homage to Piet Oudolf, the amazing visionary garden designer and plantsman, who understands how plants work together, movement, and gardens in all seasons. His gentle and persuasive palettes are a work of art in themselves.

This 30x100cm painting has white painted edges. It is strung with picture cord ready to hang.
