Original Pen and Ink drawing with Artist's watercolours of a Moment in time when I sat down to draw what was in front of me whilst having a cup of tea. I drew my, yet to be eaten, yoghurt and the toothbrushes and toothpaste were in the kitchen so I could remember to take them to the orthodontist appointment later in the day.
I’m hoping this drawing will become part of a series of daily drawings and, with the journal like quality, the messiness and the drawing’s focus on what’s around me I will end up paying attention to the small things and perhaps presenting them in a way that is unusual in everyday Art.
Drawn and painted in January 2018 using watercolour paper, watercolour ink and a dip pen. A lively expressive drawing with the line variations and splatters. My dip pen catches on the faintly uneven watercolour surface and adds a lively splatter to this drawing and the marks reveal the energy with which I drew and painted this work.
