When Anne Baudequin paints, the sky is almost always the source of her inspiration. She invariably starts with the sky. It is her favourite moment of painting. She takes up the exciting and complex challenge of rendering both the mass and the lightness of the clouds, of painting their luminous shadow and fixing them on the canvas while making their mobility felt.

The white finish of the sides of the canvas allows you to hang it without a frame if you wish.

Materials used:

This painting is painted with professional grade oil colors on a primed canvas. I prepare myself my canvases to create a texture specific to my painting needs and to insure them maximum longevity.
