I created this watercolor en plein air in Old Jaffa, immersing myself in the enchanting atmosphere of its historic alleyways. Working directly on location allowed me to capture the authentic feel of the iconic stone archways that characterize this ancient port city.

My composition guides viewers through a series of atmospheric arches, where I focused on capturing how the soft natural light plays against the weathered limestone walls. In my technique, I aimed to balance architectural detail with looser, more suggestive brushwork, bringing life to the medieval setting while maintaining the spontaneous quality that watercolor allows.

I included a few small figures to provide both scale and a human element to the scene. The color palette I chose relies on subtle variations in neutral tones - warm beiges and cool grays, complemented by touches of blue sky - to create depth and dimension. Through this painting, I sought to convey both the architectural grandeur and the intimate character that makes Old Jaffa's timeless streets so captivating.

I take great care in packaging all paintings. They are either inserted into cellophane rolled and placed into a tube for optimal protection during shipping.

I use Express courier delivery through DHL/FedEx as our standard shipping method. The delivery time varies depending on the destination country, usually between 3-8 working days.
